Daddy i miss u dearly esspecially this Chinese New Year, i still wish you were together with us in our KL trip and went shopping with us, laugh with us, walk with us, cross the streets dangerously with us, walk the whole day till we cant walk no more, eat with us, trying new food, going places with us, travel with us, or just even smile with us... i really miss ur presents and it seems more and more obvious your gone.. as i went to KL without u is like no Life, though it was fun but it was much greater fun having you around as a friend as a Father..
New Year just isnt the same without you.. Although you were hot chinese you still act and look like one that was real funny..
I still remember the time you walk with me to "Time Square" from Sungai Wang and you twisted your angkle but you pretended you were fine cause i say i want to look at the Amusement Park in there, i saw you walking funny and slow and i asked you, you said you said nothing was wrong so i didnt bother so you walk slower and slower than i asked you again, you finnally admitted you twisted your leg at Sungai Wang..I scolded you and said we should go back to the Hotel than you say "Nevermind" but i insisted and told him theres nothing much here.. so we took the Monorail to KL central and took a Bus to Midvalley than walk through the mall to the hotel(Cititel)...i really Love you for that.. i truly do.. daddy i hope to see you every night in my dreams but you never seem to appear anymore...

The reason we go to KL for new year is to forget the past... but i just seem to recall them everyday cause i am always in this house... looking every corner thinking of you...Going places thinking of you.. esspecially in a small town like Kuching..

Davin,
I read your posting here. I know you are very sad over the loss of your father. Have you actually talked to someone else about it? Have you and your family members actually told each other's feelings? Maybe that will help a bit. I understand your dad was a staunch church goer. Has the church provided any emotional support for you and your family in these times of loss? For me sometimes I will focus my attention to help the less fortunate ones (whose situation is worse than what I am in) to realise that there is a reason to go on, there is a need to continue living. At times like CNY, XMas, Gawai, maybe you can visit the less fortunate ones and celebrate the festivals with them? I have worked in the SalvationArmy before and also a few Charitable organisations-they will welcome any help you want to offer. I think there are a lot of things that you can do to help you focus on life. Till then, take care and I look forward to reading more of your postings.
